A VIRTUAL EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM

The Hebrew term for Holocaust is “Shoah.” It reminds us of the millions of Jews in Europe who faced brutality in the 20th century and who were deliberately and systematically murdered. To commemorate and better understand this tragedy, it is important that all generations know about this sad and violent event, so it is never repeated. Dafna Michaelson Jenet, a Colorado state representative will explore the impact of the Holocaust on Jews. She will also speak to her success in passing a bill that made Holocaust and genocide education mandatory in her state.
